Built as an open-air community, the city of Englewood is less than 10 minutes from the Dayton International Airport and is located northwest of downtown Dayton. Conveniently located at the crossroads of north-south I-75 and east-west I-70, Englewood is easily accessible!

There's plenty to do here - from our eight parks to the Earl Heck Community Center to the 1,900-acre Englewood Metro Park - rest, recreation, and relaxation are right here!

Englewood is home to one of Dayton’s Five River Metro Parks. It has 1,900 acres of lakes, woods, wetlands, and meadows. You can hike throughout enjoying one of the three waterfalls, try your hand at fishing or enjoy playing a round at the 18-hole disc golf course.

Keeping active is easy to do at the family-friendly Kleptz YMCA. Whether it’s enjoying one of the two indoor swimming pools, taking one of the classes at the state-of-the-art health and wellness center, or simply enjoying a walk on the indoor track- this facility provides year-round programming for kids & adults alike.

Englewood is privileged to be home to the Aullwood Audubon Nature Center. This center focuses on providing environmental education and sustainable agriculture experiences. Aullwood Audubon Nature Center offers families the opportunity to encounter and appreciate the world through experience-based education. Enjoy the many programs offered in this conservation area.
